Environmental Flow Assessment Using Low-flow Index Method in Upper Citarum River Basin, West Java, Indonesia

Aims: This research aimed to determine the amount of environmental flow (EF) required sustain river’s function in supporting ecological balance. Backgrounds: In Indonesia, Citarum area usually experiences significant challenges, including overflow River and its watersheds, which causes flooding, lack water during dry season. However, major challenge is availability Citarum, attributed discharge affecting balance watersheds Methods: A review EF was conducted by comparing 7Q10 Q95 from both Nanjung observation data rainfall-runoff modeling. Results: The results found that Weibull minima method, result for Sacramento modeling, 2.18 m 3 /s while AWLR 1.24 /s. Additionally, value 7.17 /s, modeling 7.06 Conclusions: It necessary ensure available can support conditions Upper Basin area. relevant since difference certainly management River.
